Are You Considering A Short Sale?

The term "short sale" is when a bank allows you to sell your home for less than what you owe on it.  The good news is that according to The Arizona Republic the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) is making is easier for you to do so!

In an article featured in the Arizona Republic the IRS expressed concern for homeowners who are behind on their federal taxes and have not explored potential solutions such as a short sale.  A representative from the IRS aid "we're just worried the taxpayers won't pursue these avenues.  We don't want the IRS to be a barrier to people saving or selling their homes.
