Step 3 When Buying A Home In Phoenix!

Print this blog entry Send this blog entry to a friend

Step three is a really fun step!  The third step in buying a home in the Phoenix, Scottsdale is to house hunting.
Once you have spoken to your lender and you and I both know what price range you want your home to be in, the next step is to start to looking at homes that fall into that price range and are in the area of Maricopa County you want to live it.
The more you know about what you like and do not like in a house, the easier it will be to find the right house for you.  As I get to know you, I will start to learn what you are attracted to and what type of house you want to live in.  Some people in Phoenix will not buy a house that doesn't have granite counter tops, while other people are only interested in buying a house with a pool and a big back yard.
In Phoenix there are a lot of people that will say things like "I want to buy a foreclosure property."  However, most of the time when people see what foreclosure properties look like they will decide that they are not interested in buying a foreclosure real estate property.
Generally speaking foreclosure properties are trashed on the inside and on the outside.  The amount of money you would have to put into the property to make it livable is significant. Combine that with the fact that they are not selling for  that much less than a non-foreclosed real estate property...and they quickly lose their appeal.
How will you and I will begin finding your next home in Arizona?  First I will collect some basic information from you like: Do you want a pool?  Number of bedrooms?  Number of bathrooms?  How big do you want your house to be?  Is a garage important to you?
Then I will set you up on an automatic home search of the area you are interested in weather it be Phoenix, Scottsdale, or any other city in Maricopa County.  Every morning and ever night you will be sent a link to any new home on the market that fits your basic criteria.  You will be able to pull them up and look at the picture.
One of my older blogs is titled "Buying a Home is like Blind Dating," and it is!  When you look at pictures of homes in Phoenix, Scottsdale you want to be instantly attracted to the house, or excited to see the home.  It can at times be hard to tell exactly what the home looks like, but there needs to be some level of attraction.
If you are not interested in the house, simply cross it off the list.
Remember, here in the Phoenix Valley we are experiencing a BUYER's market.  There are a lot of homes for sale in the Market.  If you don't like something...move on to the next home!
The homes that I send you that you are attracted to, or feel excited to see, should be marked as a favorite home.
I will log onto your home search account often and I will be able to see which homes you are most interested in.  I will then call you and give you a little more information on the homes you are interested in...and from there we will go to step four...
Comparing houses!
Let me know if you are ready for me to set you up on an automatic home search!  It is simple and easy, but it is also a very efficient way to begin finding the best home for you!
