Step 7 When Buying A Home In Phoenix, Arizona

Print this blog entry Send this blog entry to a friend

There are 13 steps to buying a home in the Phoenix Valley.  The seventh step is submitting the accepted contract to a lender and monitoring the loan process.
At this point in the transaction we have already completed steps 1-7.  To recap those steps they are:
  1. You and I talk about what you are looking for in a house and what part of the Phoenix Valley you are interested in living in.
  2. You talk with a lender and get an Arizona LSR (pre-approval) for a loan.
  3. The house hunting begins.
  4. I help you compare the homes you see and select the Phoenix home you like the most.
  5. I submit an Arizona real estate contract with earnest money for you!
  6. I open escrow for you.
The seventh step in an ongoing step.  As soon as there is an accepted Arizona real estate purchase contract I will submit that contract to your lender of choice.  Your lender will begin the loan process.  The loan officer will need financial documents from you to process the loan and to get the loan approved.
As your Realtor I will monitor the loan process through out the transaction.  In the Phoenix Valley most of the time when a property falls out of escrow it falls out because of some issue with financing.
According to the Arizona purchase contract your lender should have all of your loan documents to the escrow company three days before the close of escrow.
If you are working with an Arizona lender that I have referred I know that they will be able to get everything completed and to escrow on time.  If you have chosen to work with a different lender I will make sure that everything is completed on time so that your home purchase will not be delayed.
Step 8 is the Home Inspection!
