What??? Good News About Real Estate In The Wall Street Journal???
This morning when I opened my front door to retrieve my copy of the Wall Street Journal...an article on the front page immediately caught my attention. The article is titled "Wave of Foreclosures Cuts Into Home Prices As Some Buyers Return"
This article caught my attention because this is exactly what I have been saying about the Phoenix real estate market for the last couple of months!
Over the last couple of month I have been receiving at least one phone call a week from someone living outside of Arizona who is planning on coming to the Phoenix Valley to buy real estate. Most of these clients are from either Canada or a cold climate state in the US.
However, what they have in common is that they now think that it is a good time to buy real estate in the Phoenix Valley. A large portion of these clients want to buy homes in the Phoenix Valley that are on a golf course. The others are just excited that they can once again buy a great house in Arizona for a great price!
The way the Wall Street Journal stated it was "new data suggested that pressures like these (foreclosures) are starting to drive prices low enough to attract some buyers back into the market. Sales of previously occupied homes jumped 2.9% in February from the month before."
This is the first time since last July of last year that residential homes sales were up from the month before.
Does this mean we are out of the woods? No, but it does mean that smart real estate buyers are now starting to realize that there are great real estate opportunities in the Phoenix Valley!
Contact me if you are ready to buy a great real estate investment in the Phoenix Valley!
