Historic Districts
Located in downtown Phoenix, the Historic Districts are neighborhoods that are home to beautiful turn-of-the-century historically preserved houses. Included in these districts are Willo, Encanto, Palmcroft, and Coronado.
Tranquil, tree-lined streets are abundant in these neighborhoods, offering sanctuaries of peace and relaxation to the residents. They also make for great areas in Phoenix to take afternoon walks in.
The Encanto District is located very close to Encanto Park, a great place for family and work gatherings. The park sits on 222 acres, with a lagoon, two golf courses, and plenty of space to run and recreate.
The Willo Home Tour
On the Sunday before Valentine’s Day, the residents of the Willo District open up their homes for the annual Willo Home Tour. Visitors are able to enjoy the various architectural styles, ranging from Victorian to Spanish Revival.
These neighborhoods are beautiful, and a blessing that can be enjoyed by all Phoenix residents.
