Phoenix AZ Homes

This is the Southwest, so the Spanish Villa is a very popular style of home in the Phoenix real estate area. There is something about the look of the sun-bleached white stucco of these homes that will make you feel as though you are always on vacation. But there is more to Phoenix homes than villas and ranchers - from Tudor style homes to spectacular contemporary designs, real estate in Phoenix has something for everyone.

More about Phoenix

Called Hoozdo—meaning “the place is hot”—by the Navajo, Phoenix has always been known for its beautiful weather. It's full of plenty of things to do for anyone who likes to get out (and for those of us who like to stay at home, thank goodness for air conditioning!). Outdoor activities abound — two of the more popular hikes in town are Camelback Mountain and Squaw Peak. These are located right in the middle of Phoenix!

For those wondering what to do on the sixty or so days without pure sunshine, each year, the three facilities comprising Phoenix Stages attract 500,000 people to a variety of music, opera, theatre, and Broadway musicals. There is really too much happening in Phoenix to be properly described here. The only way to do it justice is to visit the city in person. But be warned: statistics show that many visitors cannot resist, and end up relocating to Phoenix.

For sports fans, Phoenix is the home of the red-hot Suns, the Diamondbacks, and the Cardinals. That means that there are sporting events to go to all year round. And, for those out there who are fans of college sports, the ASU Sun Devils are located just southeast of Phoenix in the college town of Tempe.
